About PTE Academic
PTE Academic is a computer-based English test that assesses your listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills in a single three-hour session. Test Format
- Speaking & Writing — 54–67 minutes, including personal introduction, read aloud, repeat sentence, describe image, essay, and summarize written text.
- Reading — 29–30 minutes, multiple-choice, reorder paragraphs, and fill-in-the-blanks across 5 task types.
- Listening — 30–43 minutes, summarize spoken text, multiple-choice, fill in blanks, and write from dictation.
